Description This position is responsible for all Cisco engineering, planning & transitioning our client’s legacy network infrastructure to private clouds. Perform O&M of the private clouds post transition. Key Responsibilities Work with the PM and Architect to transition functionality from legacy equipment to the organizations’ public and private clouds. Plan, install, configure and manage customers’ physical and virtual networks. Plans tasks to support STIG and DIACAP requirements in relation to law enforcement networks Provide Network Operation and Sustainment support for the virtualized environment Supports ntework transition activities from existing legacy infrastructure to new private. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for legacy environment as well as resources transitioned to private cloud environments Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with the network infrastructure; coordinates and plans corrective action with customer and administration team. Evaluates products and upgrades for appropriateness. Executes tasks defined in the project plans & schedules using best practices in secure networking models and standards Assist in the discovery process by capturing legacy requirements that must be transitioned to the cloud environments. Develop and implements functionality based on provided guidance and requirements for private and public cloud services Establish and comply with organizational standards and frameworks in creating and maintaining networks Post development activities include Operations and Management (O&M) support. Compliance with all CM processes and procedures as elements evolved from dev to test to prod. Collect and provide data/metrics that support any required SLA, MOU and MOAs Assesses the alignment of network engineering design principles/trends with desired mission strategies and objectives, concept of operations, business processes, and technology standards Coordinates with change management in collaboration with organizational governance Serves as network administrator and manages all network services with commitment to implementing best practices in security, optimization, quality assurance cloud architecture, design, engineering, testing and implementation Monitors and manages network operations and infrastructure services according to requirements specified in agreements with customer and stakeholders Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum Cisco Certified Network Professional CCNP; A CCIE or CCAr is a plus Cloud Experience with Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) Standard O&M practices supporting Layer 2 and 3 switches Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security) is a plus Virtualization Experience - design, implement, and manage networks Experience mentoring junior staff and customer resources Experience generating metric reports in support of outages and usage Demonstrated networking skills with various operating systems Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call Ability to do limited travel (0 - 4 times a year) Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Manage the entire server-side infrastructure (150+ instances)

Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing and at least three years of related work experience. Possess or be eligible for an Arizona Registered Nurse’s license. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to the philosophy and mission of a comprehensive community college. Demonstrated sensitivity to needs of students, faculty and staff from diverse and multi-cultural backgrounds. Completions of EDU 250 – The Community College within two years of initial employment, or transcript indicating successful completion of similar course at another college.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:
Faculty members, both full-time and associate, are involved in continuous assessment and engaged in expanding teaching methodologies and delivery systems to improve student academic success and retention. Full-Time faculty will follow an 80-5-15 model, where they actively participate in departmental/divisional meetings and activities, in student recruitment/retention/advisement activities, in community/partner relationships, and in activities that promote and support the district-wide academic goals of the local populations and the College. Faculty may be asked to teach on various campuses, via online/hybrid courses, or via Interactive Television, as directed by the needs of the community for a given semester; course scheduling may include daytime, evenings, and/or weekends.
Teach 12 to 14 equated load hours/semester (to included material and preparation time); develop and grade exams and instruments to evaluate student learning and progress; submission of student grades/progress as required by the programs/policies of the Learning Resources.
Maintain a min of 5 office hours/week/semester load and direct interaction with students in a formal learning environment for a 12-14 equated load hour schedule.
Remain current in his/her discipline, updating course content when appropriate. Maintain standard syllabus/outline for each course, in accordance with program/procedures. Update course syllabus/outline annually.
Working with the Vice President for Learning Services, the Director of Nursing, and departmental faculty, develop and implement processes and tools for assessment of teaching and student learning outcomes incorporating appropriate methodologies and technology.
In collaboration with colleagues and the Director of Program and Assessment and Curriculum and Articulation, the Vice President of Learning Services, and under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, develop a system for evaluation of teaching and learning including course competency expectations and student outcome measures.
Working with the Director of Nursing, incorporate results of assessments to modify instruction and materials in general education.
Develop, implement, and evaluate the program of learning; and develop and implement standards for the admission, progression, and graduation of students.
Schedule student orientation to clinical facilities. Provide joint mentorship of clinical associates with clinical facilitator.
Collaborating with the Director of Assessment and Program Review and Curriculum and Articulation, the Vice President for Learning Services, the Director of Nursing, and departmental Faculty, identify student-leaning outcomes; develop assessment processes and tools; incorporate results to enhance/modify instruction and material, degree program, course cluster, and/or certificate program as appropriate.
Working and coordinating with Student Services and the Director of Nursing actively participate in student recruitment, retention, and advisement activities and programs.
Participating in institutional functions such as, but not limited to, college committees, task forces, ATF, club sponsorships, facilitation of advisory committees, student/faculty recruitment, and mentoring of new and associate faculty. Participation may be directed by Director of Nursing.
Maintain 10 positive interaction hours/week. Attend graduation ceremonies/nurse pinning ceremonies.
Participate in professional developmental activities outside the College, such as but not limited to, community events, boards, clubs, and conferences.
Support partnerships with local businesses and community/professional organizations, working in collaboration the Director of Nursing.
Remain current with applicable local, state, and national standards/licensures/regulatory requirements that directly impact and influence programmatic offerings and instructional methodologies.
Maintain individual certifications as required by local, state, and national licensing and/or regulatory agencies.
Serve on local and state advisory committees as directed by Director of Nursing.
